Due to the high cost of travel
and lodging borne by the directors and officers out of their own pockets,
in 2008 the Board has voted to experiment with holding three electronic
meetings during the year in lieu of a single in-person meeting during
the Summer. Monthly electronic meetings are still being held on a casual
basis as posted on the front page of this site, but the above three dates
constitute actual official / recorded meetings for the purposes of conducting
business as needed. Members are permitted to join in via TeamSpeak or
Skype (if that method is used). Contact the Board Chairman for details.
The
Annual Meeting of the Board is held at the REACT International
Office, in Suitland, Maryland, in late February or early March. Dates
will be posted here when available.
Visitors
are always welcomed, but please RSVP to ensure we have sufficient
chairs and supplies on hand for all officers, directors, staff and
visitors. Meetings start by 8:30am most days and may last into the
night. Contact the office for more details. Recommend flight into
Baltimore (BWI) or one of the DC airports. Notify the office staff
of your arrival flight/time if you need someone to meet you at the
airport or need info about taking the Metro Line shuttle train which
has terminal 1 block from our offices.
